- There was once a man named Brisco living in the townland of Ross in the parish of Mucklagh in the county of Offaly. Before the man died he had done some harm to a priest. When Brisco died the priest came to his house and told his friends he was in hell.
The people of the house told the priest to prove it. The priest went in to the parlour and took out a book. Then he began to read and while he was reading(continues on next page)
