    but played a game with the light of the Christmas candle. Everyone leaves the door open.
    A strange man came in and they bade him welcome, he asked to have a game of cards with them They played till ten o'clock and their mother told them to stop playing. They played away and when the clock struck twelve their mother said "stop in the name of God this night above all." With that the stranger threw up the cards and they stuck to the rafters and he disappeared in a ball of fire. Before that time twelve months the whole family were scattered over the world.
