    The gypsies travel from place to place in vans too. Their vans are painted very brightly and their horses are decorated. Real gypsies do not beg. The women wear gaily coloured shawls and scarfs on their heads and they usually have very big ear-rings. They tell fortunes and sell tables, baskets and other things which the men make out of straw. They also sell lace, and pictures. When they camp at night they make a big fire outside the caravan, and all sit round it. They sometimes sing, or play music on fiddles.
