   In the Glen of Imaal there lived a man long ago, named Dan Finn. One night, when he was going home, a calf galloped up behind him, ran between his legs, taking him on its back. Dan hung on to the calf until a horseman came up beside him and said "If you keep your mouth shut and not speak a word you will be left back safely".
