- (continued from previous page)If a person gets a weakness when out in the fields he should get some saurels and he will be cured.
If a person had a pain in his stomach and if he tightens his belt around his stomach for a few minutes the pain will cease. - If a person had sore eyes and if he bathes them with cold tea they will be cured.
If a person had a sore throat it is said that if he puts a stocking around his neck it will cure it. It is said that if a person has a cold and if he takes scalded butter-milk it will cure the cold.
If a person has ring-worms and if he rubs polish on them, they will be cured.
It is said that bluestone and washing-soda will cure chilblains.
If a person had a burn he should rub bread-soda on the affected part to prevent it from blistering. If a person has a pain in his ear, and if he puts wool in it, it will ease the pain. If a person got a sting of a nettle he(continues on next page)- Informant
