  1. There is a Holly Tree in the townland of Greagh (townland two miles from Swanlinbar) growing in the fort. Money is supposed to be there, and a dog watching it. A brave fellow went to dig for the gold to make an easy fortune. He heard such a Kill-a-ma-lee that he threw all these and ran home with the hair standing on him, and he nearly ever got back his speech.
    Another fellow was digging potatoes near this Fort, and he threw up a spadeful of bits of gold. "Look" says he to a fellow at the heap what I have got". When he came, all was swept out of their sight- the amadán if he had to keep it to himself he'd have been made up for ever.
