    They are supposed to live in the forts.
    Their usual job is making shoes. They are supposed to have a lot of gold. The fairies are considered friendly.
    I heard of a path that the fairies would go every night. A man was building a house on it, and at night it would be knocked. It is said that the fairies have taken babies out of the cradle, and have left one back in its place.
