- My district is Ballinagh got its name from the mouth of the ford. It is situated in the diocese of Kilmore and in the parish of Ballintemple. It is in the barony of Clonmahon. The most common names are Brady and Reilly.An old woman named Mrs Mac Veety who is over seventy years of age living in the townland of Gortahork tells many old stories and tales.The Irish people were all over the world in America, Australia and Scotland.
