  1. Animals on the Farm
    The animals best known on the farm are the Horse, Cow, Goat, Sheep and Ass. The birds on the farm consist of the Hen, Duck, Turkey and Goose.
    The horse is the strongest animal on the farm and he must carry heavy loads. He is housed in a stable and tied with a halter. There is generally a horse shoe hung over the door in order to bring luck on the horse. When the farmer wants him to go faster he used the well-known word "Gee-Up.
    The cow is another useful animal because she gives us milk. There are names given to cows in order to distinguish one from another.
