- The name of my townland is Graughlough. I live in the Parish of Mullagh and in the Barony of Castleraghan. There are about twelve families in my townland. "Cochrane" is the family name most common around here. The most of the houses are thatched and some of them slated. The townland of Graughlough got its name from a lake and marshy land around it. There are about two old people over seventy and they cannot tell stories in Irish but they can in English. Their names are Richard Cochrane, Graughlough, and William Kincaid, Secharn, Mullagh. There are no houses in ruin around here, and there is no song about the townland. Some of the land is hilly and some of it is very boggy. There is no wood growing in the townland(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
