- Anemones:-Tradition tells us that it was of these brightly- hued floweres in the fields of Palestine that our Lort spoke when he said "Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow.... not even Solomen in all his glory was arrayed as one of these".( The name anemones comes from teh Greek anemos (wind) for they seem to flower best in wind- swept places).American Fushsia:-Fushsia was at one time called our Redeemer's Blood Drops.
