Long ago, there was a man who came to one of these forts to cut whins. When he had one cut, the hedgeknife fell out of his hand. He stooped to pick it up and he got a thorn in his hand. He tried to pull it out but he could not. When he looked the other side of his hand it was coming out. At the end of it was a little man singing. - Greaghlough fort is in a field belonging to Mrs Coghraine. It is the shape of a triangle. It is surrounded by a high fence. There is furze growing on the top of the fence.
