    Some of the people in old times never wore boots. Children at present go barefoot in Summer, but they do not go barefoot all the year round. Boots are made locally. There are two shoe-makers in the district. This tradition has beign in their family as far back as their grandfathers. There are not so many shoemakers nowadays as there were in olden times, because there are boot factories in the town and cities. Clogs are worn, and they are made locally
