Ar an leathanach seo
- Travelling folk call to our house occasionally. The same people have been calling for 9 or 10 years. They are called gypsies or tinkers. Some of them have horses, carts, and very good clothes.
Others of them are very poor. They sell small articles such as porringers, gallons and artificial flowers. They make these things themselves. They are welcomed every where, and people buy from them. They stay but one night at any house. Some of them have food with them. They are very thankful for gifts of potatoes, oats, milk eggs or meal.- Faisnéiseoir
