    Killasturn is situated on a rocky plateau overlooking Shercock and is surrounded by a sod fence . the graves are still to be seen.
    Island house in Lecks
    There was in Lecks a place called the ’island’. Here the Stapleton family resided. Once during a great frost in the 17th century the Stapletons residing there, endeavoured to build an island on the lake by erecting a large mound of earth and stones on the ice. The mound disappeared when the thaw set in, but at low water in the summer traces of it are to be seen. Later a branch of the Sheridan family of Rathavan lived
