Compared to what he well deserves,
And what he now has earned.
For having saved her soul from hell
And bigots whom she scorned,
I hear she will her children bring,
Two sons and a daughter,
Unto the holy Roman church,
And not to any other.

In great St Peter's choir they join
Where there they'll gain salvation,
And blesses O Donnell brave and true
That saved her from damnation.

So now to crown this great triumph
And have it longer carried,
This gentleman and lady fair
Went off and both got married.
They now call peace and joy their own
And may they long enjoy it,
And may the flesh rot off their bones
That dare for to destroy it
