  1. A story.
About eighty years ago in the time of the
Landlords, no poor people were allowed
to cut timber. Thirteen men agreed
to cut a tree one night on a marsh
known as Lisanovor. They began to cut
the tree. They were not long at it
'till they heard horses coming towards
them. When the horses came up to
them, they stopped, and the men
saw the horses were pulling a carriage.
All the men, but one, looked into the
carriage. The gates leading up to
the house were locked, but the horses
walked through them. The twelve men
that looked into the carriage, were
dead before twelve months was out,
but the man who didn't look into it,
    lived for several years.
