There were people living in Lanesboro named O'Connors their brother was killed with a lot of other men in the battle of Ballinamuck by the English forces. His brother and a friend went to Ballinamuck the net morning looking for the body which they found in the battle(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
