Aged 49 years - Long Potatoes are washed clean and boiled in a pot. When they are cooked the water is taken from them. The skin is peeled off them and they are mashed finely and kneaded with flour to make a stiff dough. It is rolled into cakes about an inch thick and baked in a flowry griddle until it turns nicely brown. It is used a present. Some people when they bake bread in an oven they put a cross on it so that the crust will not lift off when you cut it.
