- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)and when he was passing Killarue fort his horse and cart were knocked into the ditch. He looked around but he could not see any body. He then went around to the back of the cart and saw a lady standing there. He spoke to her and said that he could not get his horse or cart moved. She said she would release him if he would release her. He said he would do so if she would tell him what to do. She then told him to be down at Killarue fort the next night before twelve o'clock and that the fairies would be passing into the fort at the stroke of twelve o'clock and she would be riding on a grey horse. She told him to seize her and hold on to her no matter what would happen. She also said that it would be a very hard task but he would have her for himself if he would win(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
