When he took them home, he left them on a table and went outside. On his return the pipes were playing beautiful music without any assistance. He became uneasy, and went to a neighbours' for advice. This man advised him to take the pipes back to the fort. This he did, and on the following morning the goat was in his garden.
This man's name was Peter Lynch's father R.I.P. Lisclough - Hardly any where in Ireland are there as many forts as there are in this area.The fort I have heard most about and know best is situated in Michael Lynch's land in the townland of Lisclougher.It is made of stones and mud.Fairies inhabit this fort and some men have come in contact with them.
