Ar an leathanach seo

  1. Children wear boots in Winter and go barefooted in Summer. The present Mrs Slevin's mother of Killatee only wore boots to mass or to the market.
    Boots are made and repaired locally by Mick Hand of Corragary and by Jack Fairbern of Annahard. Both of these and also Frank Reagan of Drumaviel can make clogs.
    In Cootehill there was a tannery down a yard now owned by a Miss Adams. there were several holes now filled up with cement where the hides were stept. No one living at present remembers it in use.
