These forts are referred to by the distinguished Antiquarians - Mr. Thomas J Westropp (Western Troop Cromwellian) who lived with his nephew Col. Westropp. He supplied Mr O'Doherty with papers containing this information. He died in 1920 at 40 Strand Rd, Sandymount, Dublin.[Drawing]
