    9-V1-'38 was imagination on her sisters part for she seemed to be troubled and worried during the day about their brother and anxious that he would return him.The sister to whom their mother appeared thinking it was imagination on her part closed her eyes for a while but on opening them again saw the ghost of her mother as plainly as before.Then the mother disappeared.In the evening when the time came at which they were expecting the brother to return and when he did not arrive the daughter who had seen the ghost of their mother felt greatly troubled as she felt the coming of their mothers ghost portended some bad news .At last about twelve o'clock at night a loud knock was heard at the hall-door and when the door was opened ,two men who were personal friends of the family and who had driven very fast on a car from Ennis
