- The people say that when St Patrick was going from Ballintubber to Aughagower he crossed back at Hazelrock and down at Triangle. He crossed through a field in Hazelrock and he left a blessed well there and some person brought a dirty vessel to that well and it shifted from one place to another and it was never seen afterwards.
