  1. Over forty years ago there lived, in the parish of Glenflesk, a man of about twenty-six years of age.
    One time it was necessary for him to go to Macroom for foodstuffs. The journey was long and he had to start in the middle of the night. He had travelled a long distance when he overtook a woman walking on the road. He thought that she was also going to Macroom, so, he asked her into his car.
