This was witnessed by a huge crowd of people. The whole affair was nearly leading to a tradgedy. A lot of the spectators walked the little foot bridge to have a view at the swan's battle, when suddenly the bridge gave away and forty or fifty people fell into the River and one old woman cried out "O my bonnet is lost" as she was(continues on next page)
