   wood around but there are groves here, and there around the place, but trees are not so plentiful now as they were ten or twelve years ago, because most of them are cut down or knocked down by stones.
   There is a large lake in the town-land it is called "Inis Uí Cronan Lake" but people call it the "island lake" for short. In this lake there are a lot of small islands and there is a name on every one of them.
   There are a few old ruins around this place but some of them are used as out-offices now. It was in Carrahill
