  1. In this parish there is but one blessed well that I know if. It is situated about a mile or so on the northern side of the village, near the railway.
    That well is usually visited by people with sore eyes but there are no days laid out for going to the well so the people go there when they like.
    The people do no rounds at the well, all they do is to take a drink of the water and they say a few
