Cures 13-3-'38 Whooping Cough ,Give milk to a ferret and what he leaves of it,give it to the child to drink and that will cure the whooping cough.Another cure is catch a frog and point him three times at the child having the whooping cough,then put the frog into a bottle and cork it then.Bury the bottle and as the frog is decaying the cough is diminishing.
There is a herb called gearoough in the land.it must be picked ,washed and boiled in water and the water(continues on next page)
