- The birds most commonly found in this district are the Robins, pigeons, Blackbirds, Thrushes, crows and the Wrens. And the swallows and cuckoo and corncrakes in the Summer. The birds in this district build their nests in fences, bushes, tree tops, in house eaves, in holes in trees and many other hiding places. Each bird makes its own nest of moss, feathers, wool, mud and sticks. The shape of the nest is round. All birds have differently coloured eggs.
