  1. Marriages most frequently take place in this locality in shrove. People as a rule do not get married on Monday nor on Friday because they say that it is unlucky. The months that are also considered unlucky are the month of May the Month of August the Month of December and also the Months of Lent. The only customs connected with shrofe which are caried out in this part of country is Scellig night that is the last night of shrofe. Those that did not get not get married during shove
