    people would get the burying charge and three men would come on a donkey cart. They would get porter and tobacco, and clay pipes and snuff.
    The night of the wake, each man would get a pipe and tobacco, and the women would get snuff. They would play many games such as Horth, Spoil the Market, and Slapping. They would carry the corpse on a horse and cart, and three men would sit on the coffin and cry. They were called na mná caointe.
