- Old Irish Toasts. Here's to the grave that is ten feet deep.
Where Allen, Farkin, and O'Brien steep.
May the Lord above send down a dove.
With wings as sharp as razors.
To cut the throats of the Sasanach rogues.
That hung over our Irish Heroes.Hero's to them that are far away.
Not forgetting those that are nigh.
And if drinking beer would bring them here.
We would drink the cellars dry. Here's to the lakes, to the vales and the green moss
The harp and the shamrock the green flag and cross.
Here's to the heroes that Ireland can boast of
May their names never die
That's an Irishman's toast.Glorious, Glorious beer
Drink a good deal of it.
Make a good meal of it.
And fill yourself right up to here(continues on next page)- Informant
