    The blackbird sings very early every morning, if a blackbird comes near the house it is a sign of snow.
    Once upon a time all the birds had dull grey colours, and the great bird told them to look at a rainbow, and told each of them to pick a colour from it, all the birds got each a colour, except the robin, the great bird asked the robin, why did not he get a colour so he called all the birds to gether again, and asked them to give a wee piece of their colour to the robin, the robin has a brown body ever since.
