The wild birds comonly known round here are the crane, crow magpie, jack-daw, hawk, black-bird, thrush, song thrush, rock-thrush, lark, chaffinch, gold finch, bullfinch, sparrow, blue-bunnty, yellow-hammer, robin ríabóg, green linnet, pigeon, wren, swallow, seagull, cuckoo, corn-crake, willie wagtail, black-head, jack-snipe, the stone chat, grouse partridge and the snipe.
    The cuckoo, swallow, wild goose, wild duck, corncrake, wood cock and snipe migrate. The swallow, corncrake and cuckoo come at the end of April.
    The crane builds his nest beside the river. It is made of sticks and his eggs are grey. The crow builds her nest on the tree tops, the thrush build her nest in
