    All the townlands hereabouts [?] Irish names. Trian a third or division occur in several.
    Trian láir is the middle third
    Traon Caol is the narrow one
    Trianfóchnán is the thrid of thistles
    Trian na bhaintreabhaighe is the third [/] widow or widower.
    Cill Aodáin is the name of a townland and also of the parish. Aiden's cell also [?] stands
    Liosubh is the name if the townland which our school is.
    The lios dubh (black fort) with its soute [?] is there.
    Áit Abhaile is the home. It thought that the owner had two places and he resided in this one.
    Part of this village is Lios na Gcaorach (fort of the sheep) The fort is there [?] the land is like sheep land though
