  1. Superstitions relating to churning
    In this locality when the people are churning they always put a grain of salt on the lid of the churn. If they did not they would think that they would not get all the butter . If anyone came in for something while they are churning he would not get it because they think he would bring all their butter with him.
    They also believe that who ever brings the first can of water from the well on May morning, will have the butter of the district that year . The people never give away milk on
