  1. The most common birds that are found in our district are: the cuckoo, swallow, wren, robin, sparrow, crow, thrush, blackbird, seagull, yellow-hammer, magpie, pigeon, goldfinch, starling, lark, and wild-goose.
    Crows build stick nests lined with horses’ hair on the tops of very high trees and they lay four eggs and they sit on them for three weeks.
    The cuckoo makes no nest she lays her egg on the ground and when she gets her chance of another birds nest she puts in her egg and takes out one of the other bird’s eggs and carries it away and sucks it.
