the stranger, and so in came a beggar-man, and they seated him at the fire. After a while one of them asked him, had he any news? "Yes" said the beggar "there is a great ship-load of gold anchored at Black Sod".
They gave the beggar-man a good supper and put him to bed and so they made haste for Black Sod. before they left, one of them went to the room, and brought with him a pot of gold, and hit it somewhere near the place. The beggar-man pretended that he was asleep, and when they left, he got up and looked for the pot of gold, but could not get any trace of it.
When the robbers reached Black Sod they were shot by the people of the ship.
