  1. There is a fort in this district, and the people say that there are lots of fairies in it.
    People also say, that long ago, a family or a tribe used to live in forts.
    When the people decided to erect a house, they chose a dry patch of ground, and then dug a big trench around it, so that wild animals would not harm them.
    "Liosíns" were burial grounds for young babies who would die withoutBaptism, and there is a liosín in almost every district.
