    There was once a couple and they had a servant boy.

    There was once a couple, and they had a servant boy. The boss died, and the boy was getting very thin. One day he met the Curate of the Parish and he asked him what was wrong with him, or was the Mrs as kind to him as the boss was. The boy said she was just the same, and that there was nothing at all wrong with him. The Priest said that he would not go until he would tell him what was troubling him. The boy told him, that every night he went into the stable to clean his horse that he saw his boss standing the other side of the horse. The Priest wrote a note and told the boy to put it to his eye, and to look through it, and if the thing he saw had horns, that it was the devil, and not his boss.
    That night when he was standing beside the horse, he did as the Pries told him, and looked
