there was an informer named Carey.
About twenty years ago there lived a man named Arthur Kelly in Ring Commons also. He used to make shares for old ploughs. He would melt the metal and run it into sand and mould it. This was before the wheel ploughs came in fashion.
His brother John used to make plough shares also. Arthur used to play on a fife and John kept greyhounds.
There lived in Brunswick Street, Dublin a famous churn maker named Pidoux. He made the old fashioned hand dash churn. He died about three years ago.
