  1. Once upon a time there lived a man in Kilmovee. It was the season of Autumn and the people were cutting the oats they all had it cut, but himself. One night when he went to bed he could not sleep and he got up at midnight and went out into the field and began cutting it. As he was going along he saw a man at the other end of the field. He was delighted for he thought he would have it all cut in the morning. He went into the house and left half of it undone. When he went out to the field in the morning there was
