  1. A funny story.
    Long ago there was a married pair living in Ballysaggart Lismore. There names were Peggie and Paddy. They were very fond of each other and the husband thought that his wife was the handsomest girl in the world.
    One day there were races in Tallow, and the two of them decided that they would walk to the races. Next morning they got up very early. Put on their new clothes and off with them to the races.
    When they reached the races they were walking here and there through the field. After a while Paddy said to his wife. "Peggie I fear you are not good looking because I notice that no one is looking at you, as they are looking at other
