  1. A stone-bruise can be cured in the following way:-
    Get a slice of soap and a spoonful of sugar and mix the two together and make a paste of them. Then apply to the stone-bruise and put a cloth on it to prevent the paste from coming off. If this is done in time before the stone-bruise has gone too far it will prevent it from coming on.
