  1. About fifty years ago, there was a great wind storm, which did a great lot of harm, it tumbled trees, tumbled stacks, and stripped houses. This storm was on the 12th. December.
    One Sunday evening about a year ago, There was sports on the Metal Hospital grounds, and when the sports were over, it began to thunder and litining. It lasted for about half an hour.

  2. There was a great snow storm a few years ago, in which many lives were lost. There were great numbers of sheep and other animals lost.
    There was a great thunder storm also. It did not effect our district very badly.
    There was a great flood also not very long ago There were many things destroyed.
    The cocks of hay were floating down the river.
