  1. There are giants in this place long ago. There was a giant in Inch Island one time. He was very big and everyone was afraid of him. There was another giant living in this place. The one did not like the other. One day the Inch giant threw a big rock over to this side and it is still to be seen in a (fier) field of ours called "Creag Mór."
    There was another giant in this place who had a bed up on Patrick Doherty's hill, up above Inniskill. He was a terrible big man and the people were all afraid of him. He lived away up in the hill
