Long ago the old people went from place to place on different roads which we walk on now. These roads are seldom used now and have different names from what they had.
Pillar Park which runs from "Wilson's Bridge" up the brae to the end of the Urban beside Lindsay's was at one time called "Eacy Raggins brae" because long ago there there, a woman beside the brace called Eacy Raggin and one day she fell in to a little stream which runs on the right hand side of the the road and was drowned.
