  1. When the moon is up straight there is going to be bad weather.
    When you are able to hang your cap on the moon there is going to be good weather.
    When there is a full moon there is a high tide.
    When the sun is very bright in the morning there will be a change before twelve hours.
    A red sun is the sign of good weather.
    There is a star which follows the sun and it is called Billy. If this star goes to the right or bottom of the moon it is the sign of bad weather.
    If the tide rises four feet more than normal tide there will be bad weather before twenty four hours.
    When tide does not fall all normal ebb it denotes bad weather.
    Our prevailing winds for good weather is north and the water will get clear twenty four hours before we get that north wind. We are sure of good weather for almost a week.
    A rainbow to the east at evening denotes south-east winds and bad weather.
    A rainbow straight over head denotes showers but does not interfere with winds.
